St Paul Police Department (SPPD)
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

 

St Paul Police Department’s EAP was based on the assumption that a person within the profession would be more capable of responding to the needs of law enforcement officers and their families.  The Director of EAP is always a St Paul Police Sergeant.  Currently that Director is Ed Lemon.  EAP also contracts providers who specialize in different areas and have experience working with law enforcement employees and their families.

 

EAP will assist with any psychologically related services for law enforcement or firefighters and their families.  There is no cost associated with seeing Ed Lemon.  Thru SPPD EAP, the contracted providers have a discounted rate for services.  MCEC also accepts some health insurance including Health Partners.
